PPWR compliance, audit support and regulatory watch
Beyond registration and declarations, the EU Packaging Regulation puts documentation duties on manufacturers and their suppliers. We help you meet them, alongside your EPR representation.
What the PPWR requires of packaging manufacturers
- It applies from 12 August 2026 (Article 71).
- Before placing packaging on the market, the manufacturer carries out the conformity assessment and draws up the technical documentation set out in Annex VII (Article 15).
- Where conformity is demonstrated, the manufacturer draws up an EU declaration of conformity stating that the requirements of Articles 5 to 12 are met (substances, recyclability, recycled content, compostability, minimisation, reuse, labelling), in the model structure of Annex VIII, kept up to date and in the languages each Member State requires (Article 39).
- The technical documentation and the declaration are kept for 5 years for single-use packaging and 10 years for reusable packaging (Article 15).
- Suppliers of packaging and packaging materials must give the manufacturer all the information and documentation needed to demonstrate conformity (Article 16).
- Labelling requirements apply from 12 August 2028 (Article 12).
What we offer, on quote
PPWR assessment and declaration of conformity
We map which requirements apply to each packaging item, collect the information your suppliers owe you, build the technical documentation and draft your EU declaration of conformity, then keep both up to date.
Supplier data collection
A standard request to each packaging supplier, with the documents to return, tracked in your portal so nothing is missing when an authority asks.
Audit support
When an eco-organisme or ADEME checks your declarations, we prepare the evidence behind each figure and answer with you.
Regulatory watch
A monthly briefing on PPWR and EPR changes for the countries you sell to, with what each change means for your packaging and your deadlines.
These services do not replace testing or certification where a requirement needs it; we tell you when one does. Not legal advice.
