French EPR for B2B suppliers and manufacturers
Pallets, film and cartons you ship to French business customers now have their own EPR scheme.
A supplier not established in France that sells to French businesses using the goods themselves is the producer in France. From 1 January 2027 its professional packaging — pallets, film, cartons, drums — falls under the new professional packaging scheme (join before 31 December 2026), and since 10 July 2026 it must act through a French EPR representative. If the French customer resells the goods, the customer is the producer.
