Furniture: French EPR authorised representative
Household and professional furniture, bedding and upholstery.
A company not established in France that sells products of the stream “Furniture” in France must appoint an authorised representative established in France (article L. 541-10-9-1 of the Environmental Code, mandatory since 10 July 2026) and join an approved eco-organisme: Ecomaison, Valdelia, Valobat. EPR France Rep acts as that representative: we hold the membership in your name, obtain your IDU and file your declarations. Standard costs €190 a year for one stream and Plus €990 a year for up to three streams in one mandate, with a median saving of €1,071 a year in eco-contributions across our published examples. Lower eco-contributions with Plus
We help clients cut their eco-contributions substantially. With Plus, many products in this stream carry a lower official rate than the basic rate.
- Wall shelves, certified solid wood (3 kg), 500 a year: €1,515 at basic rates, €135 with Plus. Saving: €1,380.

Conditions and minimums: Refashion's basic rate is only open below 5,000 textile items a year · Ecologic may require its standard rates above 5 tonnes of electrical products a year · Ecomaison's basic furniture rate needs under 1,000 items, 15 tonnes and €2 million of furniture sales a year · Ecomaison's basic toy rate needs under 15,000 pieces, under 15 tonnes in total and at most 10 kg a piece. Léko: household packaging also has a per-unit part and a €110 yearly minimum. Ecologic: €200 yearly minimum. Batribox: €200 yearly minimum per battery category. Ecomaison DIY and garden: the flat basic rate is open below 10,000 pieces and 15 tonnes a year. Electronics use Ecologic's standard rate and, where Ecologic lists a penalty (for example a battery that cannot be removed), the higher rate. Basic rates for electronics are available while you declare under 5 tonnes a year; above that, Ecologic may ask you to declare at its standard rates.

One IDU for every channel
The IDU we obtain for this stream is the number Amazon.fr, Cdiscount, ManoMano, Zalando and other marketplaces ask for, and the one you display on your own Shopify or WooCommerce store. One membership covers all your sales to France.
