The three streams
- Household packaging: weight by material plus a per-unit part; Léko or Citeo.
- Electrical and electronic equipment: a fee per unit by product family (small IT, audio, lighting, tools); ecosystem and Ecologic are both approved, with different tariffs. Professional equipment has a separate scheme.
- Batteries: a fee per kilogram by chemistry; portable batteries shipped in or with the product count.
What it costs
Eco-contributions depend on the catalogue: a small consumer device is typically a few cents to a few tens of cents per unit across the three streams. The work is in coding each product to the right tariff line once; after that declarations run on units sold.
Marketplaces
Amazon.fr, Cdiscount and Fnac each ask for the packaging, EEE and batteries IDUs separately. A missing batteries number deactivates the listing as surely as a missing packaging one.

Both are approved for household EEE. Tariffs differ by product family; we compare them on your catalogue and join the cheaper one unless you have a preference.
Our devices have built-in batteries. Does the batteries stream still apply?
Yes. Batteries incorporated in equipment are declared under the batteries stream as well as the EEE stream.
Do we also need the Triman logo on the product?
Yes for household products; for electronics the EU crossed-out bin symbol can replace the Triman logo but not the French sorting instructions.
