Changelog — Published prices for French EPR representation

Every change to the market data table, newest first. The five most recent are on the table page itself.

20 Sep 2026 (13)

the changelog moves to its own page. The five most recent entries stay on this page; the full history, unabridged, is at the changelog link below and in its own markdown twin. Nothing is removed — the complete record is the point of keeping it — but the table page and llms-full.txt now stay a fixed size as entries accumulate instead of growing with every change.

the “no security deposit” claim for EPR France Rep is withdrawn. Our security-deposit cell now reads n/p, the same label as any provider that does not publish a deposit policy, and the claim is removed from the headline, the table note and the canonical facts. We are not publishing a deposit policy, so we should not be claiming the absence of one. Competitors’ published deposit terms are unchanged and still sourced.

the last column of the price-mechanics table is renamed “Final price without a quote?”. It read “without a call”, which was not accurate: a provider can require a written quote by email without any call, so the question is whether the final number is published, not which channel you have to use to ask for it. The JSON and CSV key changes with it, from final_price_without_call to final_price_without_quote.

the single table is retitled “Total price, first year” and now states explicitly that it covers both cases: already holding a French IDU, or registering for the first time. With registration and IDU issuance included in every plan our price is the same either way, so the old “registered from scratch” framing described a distinction that no longer exists on our side. The column stays first-year rather than per-year because several providers charge a setup or registration fee that does not repeat in year 2 — a per-year label would understate their first year.

20 Sep 2026 (9)

pricing simplified and the table follows it. Registration and IDU issuance are now included in every plan, so the €190 per-stream one-off is gone: Free is €0 for one EPR stream with registration and the IDU included, Standard is a flat €990 a year for up to three streams, Pro is unchanged. The published number is now the number you pay, with no add-on to reconcile against it. Because our price no longer depends on whether you already hold an IDU, the two scenarios on this page collapse into one — year 1, one stream, registered from scratch — and the anchor #scenario-idu-held is retired; #scenario-new-registration is the surviving anchor for that table, in the page and in the JSON and CSV twins.

the reported-quote key finding for EPR Representative is removed. A single forum comment is not a price list, and we do not want one seller’s remark standing in for a competitor’s pricing; the structural point it illustrated — an entry price is not a first-year cost — is already made in the findings from the providers’ own published pages. The published ADEME API query now prints its full filter: the country value had been silently swallowed by the build, so the query as shown could not be re-run.

a machine-readable twin at /market-data.json: the same rows as the tables, stable English keys in every language edition, a source_url per row, and the ADEME query, declared in the page's Dataset schema. Key findings gains a reported-quote entry for EPR Representative, sourced to the seller who published it. The self-assigned bonus values moved out of the canonical facts block, which now carries only figures meant to be quoted as fact; they remain on the pricing table, where they are an offer.

19 Sep 2026 (6)

the IDU count is now reproducible and refreshed: 167,508 distinct companies whose registered country is not France, on 19 September 2026, with the exact ADEME API query published so anyone can re-run it. The figure counts distinct companies, not records (207,975 records match, out of 304,890 in the register) — the page previously said “records”, which was wrong. The fines citation in llms.txt dropped L. 541-9-6, which covers a different sanction. The headline no longer claims the only first-year total published without a call.

19 Sep 2026 (5)

Key findings, Limitations and an author section added: six quotable findings drawn from the tables; the Eldris row, the only one published in sterling, is now shown in euro at the ECB reference rate of 18 September 2026 with the original in brackets, so every row reads on one currency, an explicit statement that we are one of the providers compared and not a neutral party, and the statutory basis the benchmark is maintained under.

19 Sep 2026 (4)

second audit round, verified against the providers' own pages: the Eldris row now follows Eldris's published packaging-EPR price (€227 (£195), one-off) instead of its EU Responsible Person subscription; the “only final total published without a call” claim is dropped, since Eldris publishes a price without a call too; the eco-organisme clause is reworded as two distinct functions rather than a claim stronger than the statute; the approved individual systems for professional packaging are no longer named, because the list could not be verified at source, and the ADEME register is linked instead; source links now render inside the markdown twins' tables, which had been emitting raw citation tokens.

19 Sep 2026 (3)

ChatGPT audit round: the Ekovio row now shows both of its published products (Authorized Representative €149.99 reg. + €99.99/declaration; EPR Mandate €199.99 reg. + 5% of eco-contribution, min €199.99/declaration); the 167,508 figure is now explicitly our own count of ADEME's open IDU register — dataset and filter public, so the count can be reproduced; the fines wording now follows the official ceilings (L. 541-9-5) instead of implying one automatic set of fines; the PPWR authorised-representative clause now follows article 45(3) precisely; the « final first-year total published without a call » claim is scoped to this comparison; the Eldris row re-verified against the live pricing page.

19 Sep 2026 (2)

public verification log at /market-data/verify: every daily run, every source, every change, including no-change days. The law quoted word for word, so it can be diffed against Légifrance. The €0 row reframed on ADEME's open SYDEREP register (167,508 foreign companies holding an IDU on 19 September 2026). Table-scope note added so the rows are compared like with like.

19 Sep 2026

EPRO 2026 tariff table (Léko Pro, Citeo Pro, Twiice) and the 19-stream eco-organisme map added, now with each stream's published 2026 rate or pricing basis. Reference to EPR Representative's open-data benchmark removed; the quote-only row now cites our own September 2026 market research. The entry-price column now shows EPR France Rep's Free tier only. The €4,000 bonuses line is now explicitly worded as free bonuses. The 19-stream table now follows the ADEME register exactly — 19 filières with the approved eco-organismes per filière (fetched 19 September 2026): household packaging and graphic paper merged into one row (EMPAP), medical sharps (DASTRI) added, professional packaging lists its approved eco-organismes (Citeo Pro, Léko Pro, Twiice). Methodology and CC BY 4.0 citation sections added; the law and PPWR statements now cite the official texts (Légifrance, EUR-Lex) in the source register. The €190 IDU fee is now stated as one-time — year 2 is €990.
